Meet Santa on the playbus at Dundee Museum of Transport
Children can meet Santa on the bus and receive a special Christmas gift on Saturdays 7th and 14th, and Sundays 8th and 15th December.

Slots are booked in 10-minute intervals to allow time for Santa’s helpers to bring your children on to and off the bus. Each child will receive 5 minutes with Santa.

Parents must book 1 slot per child.

Each child will receive 1 gift that the parents will select from three options.

At the time of booking parents must supply:

The name of the child

Age of the child

Something for Santa to talk to them about: something they are interested in (example: she likes singing and dancing, something they have learned this year (learnt to spell their name, learnt to tie their shoes), name of their dogs, etc.

Something for Santa’s card: Are you going on a trip this year? Are they getting a special present? Do they have a goal for school or sports?

Price includes: 5 minutes with Santa, small pre-selected gift, personalised letter from Santa (given on the day), free entrance to the museum for the child.

Children are given free entrance to the museum. Parents are asked to book their tickets online to visit the museum, alternatively, tickets to the museum can be purchased at the door. Parents that book a ticket into the museum will be given a wristband to indicate they have paid for entrance. You do not need to purchase a ticket to the museum to participate on Santa on the Bus.

Children 16 and under must be accompanied by a parent when visiting the museum.

For safeguarding, the parent must accompany the child onto the Playbus and must stay with the child at all times

The café will be open and selling tea, coffee, hot chocolate, and alcohol-free mulled wine. As well as our usual selection of toasties and sweet treats.
