Thank you very much to The Hammerman Incorporation for their kind donation of £150, it was greatly appreciated. These donations are very important to us, and without support from groups like these we would not exist!
Piotr Struminski, one of our members, has been doing volunteering work for the transport museum playing a big part in our accountancy’s side preparing our end of year accounts. Piotr is in his 4th year at Abertay university.
We would like to welcome you along to our Volunteer and Membership awareness weekend (2nd & 3rd July 2016) at Dobbies, Monifieth.
We will be at Dobbie’s all weekend so why not drop down, get a coffee and meet up with some of our members to find out more of what we at the Transport Museum are up to.
“We are always on the lookout for volunteers. This is just like running a big house, there is always plenty to do. Front of house are always busy in the Café and we give our volunteers a brief on our display so when the public come in they like to talk to our volunteers to get an insight of what the museum is up to, and as usual there is plenty going on just look at our News Section” – Jimmy MacDonell, DMofT Chairman.

We will be displaying this range of Jaguars during May and June.

We were happy to welcome the MZ Riders Club – South of Scotland Branch to the museum on Sunday 26 July 2015.
The MZRC is a national club, primarily for owners of MZ motorcycles or anyone interested in the marque, although these days the club is open to anyone with an interest in motorcycles generally as you probably gathered from the motley collection that turned up on Sunday.
